In 1925, on the site of the historic Tevis family estate, Stockdale Holding Company was established by a group of farsighted gentlemen; in 1935 the holding company was incorporated as Stockdale Golf and Country Club, a member-owned, private country club. It was a time when grace, charm, and excellence was the standard, not the exception. The tradition of gracious living and excellence still abounds at Stockdale Country Club.
